You can ask a subject to upload supporting documentation as part of an identity check and keep their records in one place.

About the Supplementary Documents feature
Organisations nominate which types of documents can be submitted before this feature is enabled. An operator can then select one or more of the nominated document types when requesting additional documents.
Acceptable supplementary documents file types include PNG, JPG, JPEG or PDF. Digital files cannot be larger than 4MB.
Request documents as part of the initial request
Additional documents can be requested at the same time that an identity verification request is sent.
- Follow the steps in How do I send a VOI request to start the process.
- At Step 2 use the Supplementary Documents checkboxes to select which documents to request.
- Leave the Verify Identity checkbox checked
- Enter a custom message (optional)
- Click Send
Request documents as a standalone request (no identity check)
This option is available on select accounts only
A request for documentation can be sent without the subject needing to complete an identity check.
- Follow the steps in How do I send a VOI request to start the process.
- At Step 2 use the Supplementary Documents checkboxes to select which documents to request.
- Uncheck the Verify Identity checkbox
- Enter a custom message (optional)
- Click Send
Request documents after an initial request has been completed
After a subject completes the initial request, you can request further documentation to support your process.
- Log in to the Scantek Management Portal and locate the transaction for which you need additional documentation.
- Click on the transaction to display the Transaction Details page
- Click the Request More Information button
- The Request Information box will display
- The Contact Details will be pre-filled with the existing contact details. Select the method by which you would like to send the upload request, i.e. SMS or email. Click Next.
- Select the Supplementary Documents you require from the Subject. Click Send.
- The Customer will receive an upload link via SMS/email. Once the Subject has completed the transaction, you will be notified via email.
