How to create a ticket in hubspot

There are several methods to creating a ticket in hubspot, however they share the same standard.

Creating a ticket from an email: Automation/workflow


Usually when an existing client emails in, there is a hubspot workflow that will automatically turn the email into a ticket.
However this process at present seems to be wierdly selective and the answer as to why is pending. 

Creating a ticket manually from an email: 


So in the event that an email shouldve been a ticket or we decide it should be, the fastest way to do this, is to scroll down the panel on the right side and find: the "Ticket" section and push the "create a ticket" button.

Mandatory critical information: 

Step 1. Ticket name: Company or Venue name - The issue they are having
(e.g. Scantek - Inconsistent Ticket standards)
Step 2. Pipeline: Please select the correct pipeline 
Step 3. Dependent properties: Use the drop downs to find the  appropriate option
(There is also a "The option i wasnt isnt here" Box) Select if applicable, however please inform the CS Team lead so that it can be added if required. 
Step 4. Ticket status: New 
Step 5. Ticket description: Short blurb on what the actual problem is
(e.g. Scantek management have noticed a lack of consistency in ticket creation and not all tickets are up to standard, we've realised its because there isnt an upto date KB on how to do this) 
Step 6. Ticket owner: Who will be working on this issue 
Step 7. Priority: Please see the matrix for ensuring you select the appropriate priority. 
Step 8. Company: Which company/venue 
Step 9. Contact: Who told us about this issue / who do we need to keep updated
Step 10. Asset: If we manage an asset for them, it will be an option, please select the correct asset. 
Step 11. Create <- Push the button ^_^ 

Creating a ticket manually from a phone call: 

We need the tickets view: open the left side menu in hubspot -> Select CRM -> Select Tickets



Now that your in the tickets view, on the right side of the page there is a big orange button that says create ticket: Now we follow the same process for creating a manual ticket from Email. 


Creating a ticket manually from slack: 

You're having a conversation in slack or someone posts an update in slack, which now needs to become a ticket, you can turn that slack message into a ticket. 

Go into slack and find the message you need to turn into a ticket. 
Step 1. Click on the three dots next to the message 
Step 2. Select " Create a ticket in hubspot" 


NB: if you dont have that option, select more message shortcuts and scroll until you  find that option, itll then provide that option next time.

There are less fields to fill in as its a slack version, once your ticket is created, please follow the above process to ensure the basics are filled in. 

Please note:  BDR tickets require additional information like the region
